Christmas News

Welcome to Barefoot Babies eNewsletter

Our fledgling business would like to wish you a blessed and peaceful Christmas and new year period. We've had an amazing year working on new items for little children and have pretty much mastered sewing and running the business surrounded by our own beloved little people!

For those of you who haven't visited us online yet - we are proud to announce that we now have a website and shop for browsing at your whim! Barefoot Babies has been a labour of love from the start, and we have been rewarded enormously by seeing our beautiful items on display for all to see. All of our items can be ordered and paid for online, and since all of our clothes are from very small runs, we also welcome emails from our customers requesting items that they can't currently find online.

Handmade Goodies for Christmas - under $30

Our fabric necklaces have been such a hit that we struggle to keep up with demand. Handmade using wooden beads and only $12 each.

Nappy Covers are the perfect solution to hot summer days and ugly nappies! Boys and girls designs are available for $15 - $20 each.

As mothers we have realised how hard it is to find lovely bibs for babies. We have solved that problem by offering beautiful handmade, practical bibs for $12 each!

Little girls love our twirly skirts and matching peasant tops - both items are cool, beautiful, comfortable and versatile. Skirts are $30 and shirts are $25.

New Barefoot Baby

Melanie and Mark welcomed a little sister for Ellie and Finn in September. Neve is a perfect 'barefoot baby" being endlessly patient and good natured while chaos surrounds her in the form of mad sewing and markets. She made her first appearance in an official capacity at Mathilda's Market at Lane Cove in November. Her siblings and cousins are delighted with her!

Market

Please come and see us at Allie’s Attic on the 12th December at Paddington Town Hall (247 Oxford St Paddington) from 10am – 3pm.

We are looking forward to seeing our customers face to face again and are currently adding to our range for our first Allie’s Attic market.

We would like to thank you for supporting Barefoot Babies, and for supporting handmade in general. We feel it is so important to stay connected to the origins of things and to feel proud about who we support and endorse. As mothers we feel it is essential to teach our kids about the significance of consuming with a conscience.

We look forward to more challenges and achievements in 2010!
